The Montres Corum SàRL (short: Corum) is a Swiss watch manufacturer,
which was founded in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1955 by Gaston Ries and his uncle Rene Bannwart. The company name is derived from the Latin word quorum. Corum only manufactures watches in the high-price segment, but is not a watch manufacturer. The Corum company obtains the clockwork from ETA SA or “Frederic Piguet”, for example.
