Beneteau Figaro 3 Castor

The Figaro Beneteau 3 has the distinction of being the first production, foiling, one design monohull. A result of the collaboration between VPLP and Beneteau, the Figaro 3 improves on its predecessor with foils that increase lift and reduce leeway, an optimised slender and deeper keel, no need for water ballast, a more extensive sail plan, which all adds up to a significant 15% increase in performance.

The boat (previously known as A Fond La Girafon) has been true to its racing pedigree, winning Line Honors in the 2018 Pacific Cup and competing in Transpac 2019. More recently she has been raced double-handed close to her home in Long Beach, Californiain the SoCal 300, and Santa Barbara to King Harbor Race.
